What is the difference between White Spirit and Methalated Spirit?
Q. And what are the uses for both of them? I know you may use Methalated Spirit as fuel for small stoves and lamps - may you use white spirit for the same purpose? What are the uses for them both?

A. Methylated spirit in mostly ethanol (ethyl alcohol) with small amounts of methanol to make it poisonous, pyridine (to make it taste horrible) and purple dye (to stop you swigging it). It's used in lamps, heaters and for general cleaning and degreasing purposes. White spirit is a substitute for oil of turpentine and is used for thinning paint and cleaning paint brushes. It is a mixture of paraffin oil and ethanol. A very similar liquid (more paraffin less ethanol) is used for starting barbeques.

Is the Holy Spirit seal on the believer when one first believes different than the filling or baptism of Him?
Q. 2. And is the filling or baptism really the ability to receive the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit? 3. And are the gifts received really directly receiving power from the Holy Angels? A. 1. The Christian receives the seal of the Holy Spirit when they receive the Holy Spirit at salvation. How can multiple Spirit-filled Christians disagree with each other on the very same topic ?
Q. An example would be the future fate of America. Some spirit-filled Christians believe it will be punished with a nuclear war, others don't believe it will. Both claim to hear from God about it. David Wilkerson, R.G. Stair, and Dumitru Duduman are some of the ones who believe it will happen.

A. Disagreements in predictions are always going to take place among individual Christians; even the disciples quarreled at times. However, the bigger problem is differences in doctrines and morality. Jesus organized only one church (Matt 16:18-19) and gave it authority to "bind and loose" in interpreting Jesus' teachings to new future challenges. This church (then a unity of Catholic and Orthodox believers) commissioned, selected, and canonized the Bible, but they also retained decision-making authority in doctrines and morality. The church functions like the Supreme Court, deciding how to interpret the written texts as new problems arise. The Holy Spirit guides the deliberations of the church. How do we get energy for the spirit board?
Q. My two other friends and I are really interested i using a spirit board to speak with spirits. I have done it enough times to know what I'm doing (as much as anyone can) But our problem is that when the three of us try to do it toghether it seems as if we don't have enough energy combined to make it work. We usually just use a board and a planchette of some sort. Is there another way that we could be approaching it?

What Christian Denomination believes that the Holy Spirit is the principle guiding source in one's life?
Q. In other words, that the Holy Spirit is the person's individual guide, and the Bible is used in many different facets, but mainly to aid in converting others. I would like to believe that God speaks to us individually through the Holy Spirit, and it utilizes our talents to help us grow, teach, and convert others. Where and when did my spirit come from? How long has my spirit existed?
Q. My body did not exist until my dad had a twinkle in his eye when he looked at my mom. Then my person or soul grew in this body. I've heard of doctor testimonies experiencing an indescribable feeling when delivering children and the newborn catches their first breath. Was the spirit of that child already in existence waiting? We were created in God's image: spirit, soul, body. His spirit is eternal. Is ours? I think we will eternally exist in some type of form.

A. Well, pretty much everyone I know owns a pair of soffes. If you don't they are really inexpensive, you should wear red soffes, and then blue leggings like you planned, then if you have a plain blue t-shirt, you can make an iron on with a superman logo and have a home made tee. You can buy iron on sheets at the craft shop, or I'm almost positive your mom will have them somewhere around your house. Have fun! DSMTD- Frankie J

A. You can use a aerosol spray duster. Hold the can upside down and freeze the gum / adhesive until hardened. Peel off jacket or material. You may need to scrape gently until desired results are achieved. Do not scrape too hard! This works well on chewing gum also.

A. Some people have them, others do not. They can be lost if they are pushed away by the person. If you can master astral projection, you are able to call upon your spirit guides who will appear to you in a comforting form, such as a familiar animal with whom you can converse. Deep meditation is another way, they will often convey emotions of love and kindness.

What is the difference between spirit and soul in Japan ?
Q. I've once heard someone saying that in Japan the spirit is different from the soul, that the spirit is the vital energy while the soul is something else. Or something like that. Can someone please detail this to me ?
Asked by Flo - Fri Sep 19 05:59:24 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. In japanese usage maybe soul is a synonym of a ghost. It dwells in something doesn't have a flesh and it sounds creepy. Spirit is in everyone's body. It dwells in a vigorous state of one's mind. A long time ago, Japanese seemed to think the soul can dwell in all living things. Several years ago, a young Japanese female singer named "Baby Soul(not translation)" was popular in Japan. That was so creepy!

Q. I've once heard someone saying that in Japan the spirit is different from the soul, that the spirit is the vital energy while the soul is something else. Or something like that. Can someone please detail this to me ?

A. In japanese usage maybe soul is a synonym of a ghost. It dwells in something doesn't have a flesh and it sounds creepy. Spirit is in everyone's body. It dwells in a vigorous state of one's mind. How important is the Holy Spirit in your life?
Q. I'm wondering, because so many Christians I know aren't aware that the Holy Spirit is in their life. They either don't know that, or they think it is totally irrelevant to their lives. How does the Holy Spirit affect your life?

A. All I can say is - comfort, peace that surpasses understanding, and POWER- whooa! Dunamis! - the Holy Spirit, is nothing to take lightly- i don't even think I would have posted this question knowing how disrespectful people are on here- this is not a subject matter to talk loosely about. (not you, disrespectful ones) In my life, the fruits of the Holy Spirit is very vital. edit: then I read a few posts and i knew that disrespect would come- dangerous.
